October 9, 2025 / HPP Architekten and White Arkitekter, Stuttgart, Germany
On October 9, 2025, Research Associates Lasath Siriwardena and Tobias Schwinn will speak at L'ignite, the Holzbaustammtisch hosted by HPP Architekten and White Arkitekter, Stuttgart, Germany. Their presentation "Co-designing the Segmented Timber Shell of the IntCDC Building" will highlight the design and development of the large-span timber roof of the IntCDC Building, which houses a multistory office and construction robotics laboratory for the Cluster of Excellence IntCDC (Integrative Computational Design and Construction for Architecture). The segmented timber shell integrates research in computational design, structural engineering, robotic fabrication, and timber construction, exemplifying IntCDC's co-design methodology.
Special thanks to Julia and Moritz of Digitize Woodfor the invitation and organization.
