ICD Research Associate Diellza Elshani presented her ongoing research at the 31th Project Days of Building Research, within Block B: Innovative Baukonstruktionen / Holzdeckensysteme. The talk introduced the InterReas project, part of the Zukunft Bau research initiative, which investigates how semantic web technologies and knowledge graphs can improve data interoperability in building design and robotic fabrication.
The lecture provided an overview of the project’s approach to linking design and fabrication data, the development of a timber-building ontology, and current work on automated reasoning for compliance checking, manufacturability validation, and geometry representation in RDF-based workflows.
