 Forming part of the London Design Festival the forum on Thursday 22nd of September 2016 will focus on what the so-called ‘fourth industrial revolution’ of new robotic fabrication technologies might mean for the future of architecture, engineering and making. Chaired by V&A Engineering Season co-curator Zofia Trafas White, and featuring a line-up of leading practitioners, including experimental architect Achim Menges (ICD University of Stuttgart) from the design team behind the V&A’s Elytra Filament Pavilion; Professor Bob Sheil, Director of the Bartlett School of Architecture in London; and Professor Mette Ramsgaard Thomsen, Head of the Centre for Information Technology and Architecture, Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Design and Conservation (KADK).
