ICD/CA researcher Diellza Elshani will deliver a presentation as part of the CAD seminar at the Faculty of Architecture, UP, Hasan Prishtina, in Kosovo, on March 28, 2024, at 16:00.
The CAD seminar focuses on computer applications and Computer-aided design (CAD) systems, and Elshani's talk will discuss how far computers and technologies can be utilized in the building industry. Her talk is titled Digital and Computational Design, and the presentation will cover topics such as data representation (ontologies, schemas), data integration/exchange (interoperability), algorithmic design, as well as AI/Machine Learning for architects.
This presentation will showcase examples from the digital and computational design field, with research conducted at the City Intelligence Lab (CIL) at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Vienna, at the Chair for Computing in Architecture, Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD), as well as the cluster of excellence Integrative Computational Design and Construction for Architecture (IntCDC) in Stuttgart.
