Zukunftspotenziale robotischer Fabrikation im Holzbau

July 7, 2020 / H.J. Wagner

Lecture, Austria

Hans Jakob Wagner will deliver an invited presentation on the future potentials of platform-based robotic timber construction for the technology transfer and online learning portal on 15th July at 14pm. The presentation will give an overview of how automation technologies can be leveraged to bring advanced performative and spatial qualitites to the craft-based production of building artefacts. It will further discuss how such technologies can be managed and organized to enable the formation of dynamic and distributed local building cultures. It will further discuss how flexible automation will be key in order to align robotics with the construction sectors main optimization criteria: the deliberate customization of buildings on the basis of project-specific boundary conditions.

The lecture will be held as a webinar. Participation is free but requires registration. Please find more information here
