Dominga Garufi is an Architect, BIM Manager and BIM Global Lead at Werner Sobek AG. She is also an instructor at ICD, where she teaches the BIM Seminar. Her passion centers on optimizing architectural and engineering projects by delving into cutting-edge advancements in the AEC sector. Through Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology, she believes in transparency and informed decision-making across the entire construction project lifecycle, aiming to reduce environmental impact and enhance project efficiency.

Dominga holds a master’s degree (ITECH) from the University of Stuttgart, a Master's in Sustainable Environmental Design (SED) from the Architectural Association in London as well as a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Construction Engineering from Italy.  During her time in London, she worked in renowned sustainable architectural practices such as Wilkinson Eyre and Hawkes.

Her passion for integrating novel technologies in architecture led her to Stuttgart where she worked initially at HPP Architekten before joining Werner Sobek AG in 2019.
