Harrison Hildebrandt is a research associate at the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD) at the University of Stuttgart, where he is developing fabrication methods for the production of fibre composite building elements via robotic prefabrication platforms.

He joins ICD after having recently completed the M.Sc. Program Integrative Technologies and Architectural Design Research (ITECH) at the University of Stuttgart. His master's thesis, working together with Peng-An Chen and Mengxi He, developed new design and fabrication methods for load-bearing spatial fiber structures fabricated with a dual robot platform.

Prior to relocating to Stuttgart, he received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He worked in New York City as a design engineer for Pensa, a product design and engineering firm, working primarily on a desktop CNC wire bender.
