3D Pioneers Challenge

David Correa and Achim Menges, Institute for Computational Design, submission for “Bio inspired Material Systems” was selected by an international jury as a Finalist for the 3D Pioneers Challenge Exhibition at Rapid.Tech 2016.
The 3D Pioneers Challenge is an international competition for additive manufacturing technologies that seeks to uncover specialists from around the world who are thinking outside the box and pushing boundaries. The selected work is part of ongoing research into Bio-inspired 3D Printed Hygroscopic Programmable Material Systems.
Exhibition of finalists 14th-16th June, Gala event with award ceremony 15th of June at the Messe Erfurt Rapid.Tech and FabCon 3.D.
