DFG Priority Programme SPP 2187

The Institute for Computational Design and Construction is part of the nation-wide DFG funded Priority Programme SPP 2187: Adaptive Modular Concrete Construction with Flow Production Methods. This multidisciplinary programme seeks to find novel solutions to improve both efficiency and adaptability of modular prefab concrete construction.

Within the sub-project Agent-based Methods for Fabrication-oriented Design of Adaptive Modular Prefab Concrete Construction, ICD Stuttgart investigates the development of consistent digital models taking into account multi-criteria aspects of segmentation, joining, production and assembly. Thus, offering design tools that exploit the potential of a fully digital process chain utilizing Agent-based modelling and learning techniques.
