Online Holzbau-Donnerstag ProHolz BW

ICD researcher Laura Kiesewetter will give a collaborative lecture as part of the HolzbauDonnerstag online lecture series on timber construction, organized by proHolz BW.

Together with Johanna Deinet (K+L Architekten) and Kai Strehlke (Blumer Lehmann), she will present the recently completed Stammhaus, the new headquarters for the family-run timber construction company Blumer Lehmann. The project showcases a forward-looking approach to timber architecture, with a strong focus on material efficiency and spatial clarity. A central highlight is the open timber staircase, which unfolds as a sculptural core element—both structurally and spatially anchoring the building.

HolzbauDonnerstag is a monthly lecture format by proHolz Baden-Württemberg, bringing together experts from architecture, engineering, and industry to discuss contemporary timber construction and its future potential.
