The 2nd International Symposium on Wood was post-poned due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Hans Jakob Wagner will give a lecture on digital fabrication in timber construction at the 2nd International Symposium on Wood, Construction, and Economy in Bad Wörishofen on the 18th of March 2020. The event is organized by the International Wood Construction Forum and will focus on innovative concepts for planning, production, and construction management in the wood building industry. The lecture will discuss recent findings on the management of robotic fabrication in wood architecture. Recently finished projects such as the BUGA Wood Pavilion as well as challenges for the future of the industry will be portrayed. Last but not least, current focus and research questions at the ICD within the newly founded Cluster of Excellence are introduced. Please find further information at the Forum Holzbau Webpage.
